Rhamnolipids
A nature, well-characterized, nontoxic, biodegradable Biosurfactants
Rhamnolipids are pure bio-fermented Biosurfactants by Pseudomonas aeruginosa or other microorganisms, and classified as mono and di-rhamnolipids.
From the first patent for the production of Rhamnolipids filed in 1984, many research works and practices proved that Rhamnolipids are broadly applicable in various industries such as Bioremediation& Enhance oil recovery(EOR), Pharmaceuticals, Cosmetics, Detergents & cleaners, and Agriculture.
Nowadays, with regard to sustainability and global warming, the demand for eco-friendly surfactants are increasing. As a nature, well-characterized, nontoxic and biodegradable Biosurfactant, Rhamnolipids are possible to be one of the mainly alternatives to common synthetic surfactants.
